Hi @FirstName,

Thanks for booking into the Benaraby Repair Help Desk and helping us reduce waste!

If this is your first time visiting the Repair Help Desk, here's some helpful info about it works.

The Help Desk opens at 9.00am and closes at 12.00pm on the dot. There are no set time slots and you can drop by with your item any time. However, it's best to arrive before 11.30am or our repairers might not have time to help fix your item.
If your item isn't something we fix, or sounds like it might be too tricky, we'll contact you by email to chat with you about it first (make sure to check your JUNK folder). If you haven't heard from us, you're fine to come along.
Only one item can be fixed per person, at a time. You’re welcome to bring more than one, but you'll have to re-join the queue with the second item after your first item has been looked at.
The ethos of the Help Desk is that visitors are encouraged to sit with repairers to help with the repair. There's no drop-off service, and you’re expected to remain with the volunteer while the repair is being made.
BIG DISCLAIMERS COMING! We'll always try our best, but some things just can't be fixed. There are no guarantees for repairs made, and the Help Desk is not liable if items don’t work when taken home. Also, all items are offered for repair at your own risk. Neither the Help Desk organisers or our volunteer repairers are liable for any loss or injury that results from any repair carried out at the Help Desk. (Phew, glad that's out!)
The Repair Help Desk is 100% volunteer run, with no external funding. Our services are offered free, but we love, love, LOVE donations to cover our costs. If you have a good experience at the Help Desk and would like to help us out, you can make a cash donation on the day (there'll be a jar floating around somewhere).
Wanna get involved? If you like what we’re doing, and have skills to share, consider volunteering! We’re always looking for new people. As well as repairers, we also need people to help with meeting, greeting, and making cuppas on the day. No repair skills needed, just a friendly attitude.

Look forward to seeing what you bring in!
