Event description
Sourcing and Developing New Ideas for SME Innovation
This event can be attended either in person or virtually.
J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics, University of Galway, is delighted to host the third seminar and workshop in the Building Innovation Capability series for SMEs. In this seminar and follow-on workshop with Ideas Lab we will address:
- Where do new ideas for innovation come from?
- How to make decisions about new ideas and innovation under uncertainty?
- Why and how to consider stakeholders in generating and developing new ideas?
- What practical tools and techniques can you use to help generate and develop new ideas for innovation?
Led by:
Dr Majella Giblin, Senior Lecturer, Associate Head of External Engagement & Alumni Relations, University of Galway
Dr Johanna Clancy, Lecturer, University of Galway
These questions will be addressed through a mix of academic and practitioner speakers aimed at small business owners and managers as the target audience. You will have the opportunity to work through practical tools and techniques in a workshop with Ideas Lab at University of Galway to help generate and develop ideas for your business.
