Event description
After two massive sold out years, The Big Aussie BBQ is back for the third time – better than ever! With over 500 Aussies landing in Brooklyn to eat real beef sausages in Australian bread, drink Aussie beers and wines, play cricket, footy, netball, and backyard games and meet each other on August 17 – it's sure to be another beautiful New York afternoon.
Tickets are free and we welcome families, couples, and solo-travelers alike – everyone is welcome whether you've been here 24 hours or 24 years.
The Big Aussie BBQ is the biggest annual outdoor summer event for the Australian community in New York and its aim is to connect individuals with each other and the businesses that support the community year-round.
The day includes free entertainment, backyard games, sports teams, beers and wines, and, of course, amazing Aussie-style sausages.
Pre-purchase your food and drink tickets when you get your ticket to avoid waiting on the day:
- Sausage in Bread $3.00 (vegan option available)
- Soda and water $2.00
- Wine and beer $7.00
