Join us for an exciting tour of the North Branch of the Chicago River, and of the businesses that keep the river designated as a "working" river! This tour will highlight businesses from the music industry and from brewers and distillers in our area. If you enjoy learning more about Chicago and behind-the-scenes tours, join us on July 25th for an all-inclusive bike tour.
The ride will begin at The Salt Shed and make its way to Dolce Arte for pastries and coffee, Delmark Records for historic blues recordings, and bring us to Burning Bush Brewery for pizza and beer. We will also stop outside Electrical Audio and visit Steve Albini Way to tell the story of an incredible audio engineer who recorded famous bands like Nirvana, PJ Harvey, and The Pixies.
Ride past the iconic Salt Shed and the historic Hideout for more of a peek into the history of the North Branch. Ride along the river and learn about the barges that share a "blue highway" with local kayakers and boaters.
You will be sure to get a lot from this bike ride, This is a leisurely ride designed for people of all ages and abilities.
The ticket price includes a pizza lunch at Burning Bush Brewery and supports North Branch Works' economic development work with local businesses.

There will be an option to ride back to the Salt Shed following the ride. Lunch will be served at Burning Bush following the end of the ride.
