Join Bin Collective for a hands-on, creative workshop where you’ll design and build your own puppet using scrap materials and a treasure trove of craft supplies. Dream up your character and bring them to life—whether it’s weird, wonderful, or totally chaotic. Once your puppet is ready, you’ll take them straight to the rave and dance together!

Step into an afternoon of playful chaos with Bin Collective and a cast of delightfully strange characters.
This is no ordinary rave, every raver is a puppeteer. Expect laughter, dancing, and the unexpected as puppets take over the dancefloor.
Bring your own puppet, or meet a new one when you arrive. Whether you made yours in the morning workshop or already have a favourite, everyone is welcome to join the fun.

Gather@, a new multi-venue music and culture festival across the Rossendale Valley, presented by later@ in partnership with Horse + Bamboo Theatre and taking place between 26-28 June.
Across three days, the festival connects towns through a curated programme of live music and creative activity. Audiences can move between venues, discovering independent artists, performances, and a mix of experiences for both locals and visitors. Across the wider weekend, Gather@ brings nationally respected artists into intimate local settings, alongside a handpicked lineup of rising talent. Confirmed artists include Dave McCabe (The Zutons), John Bramwell (I Am Kloot),18 year old country blues guitarist and singer Muireann Bradley, Dominie Hooper, Yaang, A. S. Fanning, Ellen Beth Abdi, The Folk Drama, Lily Rae Grant, Freequency 3, Punch-In, Marie Franc, Georgian, Coruja Jones, Concrete Club, K Estate, The Staags with more to be announced. This is a free event; donations will be gratefully received. Gather@ is built on the belief that everyone should have access to great live music, arts, and culture. While some of our events are ticketed, a large part of the festival remains free and open to all and that’s only possible with your support. Alongside our paid events programme hosted at Horse + Bamboo, St Mary’s Chambers, and The Rosemount, the Gather@ Trail opens up Rossendale through a series of free events taking place in independent venues and spaces.
Additional Gather@ Trail venues include The Drop Off (Edenfield), Haslingden Market, MANR at The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery (Rawtenstall), The Blind Tiger (Rawtenstall), The Unitarian Church (Rawtenstall), Rawtenstall Market, and Chuffin' Ale (Rawtenstall).

Bin Collective
Bin Collective are a Lancashire-based art collective made up of Helen Davies, Scott Sadler, and Piss & Vinegar. Blending three distinct artistic practices, they create interactive, puppet-led experiences full of humour, chaos, and participation. Working with repurposed and recycled materials, they are best known for creating the world’s first Puppet Rave—a unique mix of party, performance, and sculptural art.
