Let's have the courage to sit with the triumphs and the traumas, together. To hold and heal each other, to illuminate and inspire shared truths, to glorify and grieve our precious experiences—to weave a fuller story of birth in real life, here and now.

Each and every story is a sacred thread we can follow to find our way back to Birth's greater wisdom and sovereignty.

This circle invites you to be seen and held in your birth story, whatever it may be—and to find and share the medicine it holds for you, your child and for all of us.

Booking a Spot in the Circle:

Each circle can hold up to five birth stories. When you book a space, select 'Birth Story Mama' to share your birth story and we will send you a short guide to help you prepare your story for the circle.

Each circle also has 5 spaces for women who may want to be a witness in circle, to hear and revere the stories of other women in our community. Please select 'Witness' when booking your spot.

Jenna Shaw: Jenna is a birth doula and anam cara serving the greater Waikato, Aotearoa. 

My medicine is helping people live and birth in truth, power and love. I want you to have the safety, space and tools you need to find your own medicine and use it, when you are ready...whether you are birthing a baby, or rebirthing yourself. (Becoming a mother is both).

We need women birthing in truth, power and love to restore the feminine balance the world is craving. I serve women, but also the next generation, and the one after that, and the one after that...I serve the vision of a healed humanity that we all need and hope for.

Tish Ella: A mother, somatic space holder, doula and yoga practitioner based in Waihi and Online. Devoted to birth keeping and protecting this rite of passage as one that is sacred. My desire is to connect with mamas from all walks of life and journey with her/you through conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and mothering.

It is my dream that all mamas have the support and care they need to nourish all parts of themselves through this transition. Birth is such a portal! Like an inhale, exhale, there is contraction as we may meet our fears and face the not knowing, and expansion as we transmute fears, and relax into the mystery and unknown. We are the portal of creation, life and death.

I see my role to be your soul friend, a woman walking alongside you through your journey. To be present, loving guidance and supporting you to be in your power. Because you are so powerful mama!
