Description

Birthing with Sound is a 4-week course for couples, exploring how breath, voice and sound can support the nervous system through pregnancy, labour and birth.

Limited to 5 couples per group, to keep sessions small and intimate.

Across four evenings, you and your partner build a toolkit together - grounded in nervous system science and traditional sound practice. Each session blends education, guided practice, and closes with a live sound bath.

What we'll cover:

Week 1: Nervous system foundations - the fear-tension-pain cycle, and practices to help the body soften

Week 2: Voice & crystal bowl during birth - humming, vocal toning and crystal singing bowl work

Week 3: Rhythm & grounding with the drum - steady beat and movement to support you as labour intensifies

Week 4: Your toolkit - bringing it together into a birth preferences framework that's yours

You'll leave with breathing techniques, your own vocal practice, grounding tools, recommendations for recordings to use at home, and ways for your partner to actively support you (not just stand by).

When: Tuesday evenings - 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th November, 6:30pm-8pm

Where: Lesmurdie, Perth Hills

Cost: $350 per couple
