Bach in the Dark - Plucked, Struck, Blown and Bowed at the Mosman Art Gallery
Event description
A Bach in the Dark concert with a difference!
Online tickets are no longer available - however, there are a limited number of tickets available for sale at the door.
After audiences loved the space of the beautiful Mosman Art Gallery, Rachel has asked a number of her dear musical friends to join her this year for a concert that she knows you’ll all love! Get ready for music by Bach, Sculthorpe, Boccherini, Carlo Domeniconi and George Harrison with Rosie Gallagher (flute), Janet and Raffaele Agostino (classical guitar) and Ben Sibson (hand percussion).
There'll be a Bach flute sonata (lovingly arranged by Janet Agostino), a moment of stillness by Philip Glass, dances to get your toes tapping based on 'La Folia' and a fandango that will most definitely make you smile - there'll be something for everyone!
The concert space will be open at the gallery from 6.30pm, and a glass of wine (or non-alchoholic equivalent) will be offered to every patron. Ticket sales will STOP at 2pm on the day of the concert, and if there are any tickets available, they will be available at the gallery. Get ready for a concert that will be full of energy, all kinds of sounds and a few musical surprises!
