Bach in the Dark - Pop-up Concert - Cello and Double Bass at Marrickville Yoga Centre

There's been so much interest in the cello and double bass concert, we've decided to add another concert hosted by dear friends Simon and Hasu who run the Marrickville Yoga Centre!

Rachel and Ben actually met practising yoga in this beautiful space, so it made sense to both of them to come and play here too... The program will include some Bach (of course!), some Bach-inspired bluegrass (I kid you not!), a re-working of Bach's 'Crab' canon by M.B. Sibson, music by two of Bach's sons, a moment of musical stillness by Schnittke, as well as a few other musical surprises. It'll be a night to make you smile, sigh with pleasure and tap your toes - all at different times!

The studio will be open at 6.30pm, and seating is strictly limited, so you are encouraged to book ahead. Ticket sales will STOP at 4pm on the day of the concert, and if there are any tickets available, they will be available at the doors of the studio as you arrive. (There's a special ticket price for you if you are a member of Marrickville Yoga Centre...)
