Special Features

Strokes of Hope: A Special Exhibition of the Daily Postcard (הגלויה היומית) Project by Zeev Engelmayer (זאב אנגלמאיר)
Experience a powerful visual installation created in response to October 7th by Zeev Engelmayer. What began as a personal act of processing has become The Daily Postcard—a moving collection honoring hostages and families while capturing moments of humanity and resilience. This exhibit offers a space for reflection within the larger celebration—holding both memory and hope.

Community Service: The Flower Man Project 🌻
Inspired by a grassroots initiative in Israel in honor of Sgt. Ariel Sosnov (z"l), families are invited to take part in a hands-on service experience. Create small floral arrangements and write personalized Shabbat cards, which will be delivered to elderly Jewish neighbors in Brooklyn as Shabbat begins. A meaningful way for families to give back—together.💙
🛡️ Accessibility & Security
This event is open to the entire Brooklyn Jewish community, and we are committed to making participation accessible and welcoming for all families.
To help ensure a safe environment for everyone:
Advance registration is required; only registered guests will be admitted
All attendees will pass through a security checkpoint upon entry
No backpacks or strollers
Our goal is to create a space where families can gather, celebrate, and feel at ease. Thank you for partnering with us in keeping our community secure.

🧡 A Special Thank You
This celebration would not be possible without the extraordinary partnership of the Senesh Parent Association (PA).
From early planning to day-of execution, PA volunteers help bring every detail of this program to life—contributing time, creativity, and care behind the scenes and on the ground.
We are deeply grateful for their leadership, energy, and commitment to building joyful Jewish community together.
Community Sponsors & Supporters
This event is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, community members, and friends who have contributed resources, funding, and in-kind support to help bring the shuk to life.
