Black Chattanooga: A Cultural History Experience

Visit Chattanooga has a fantastic lineup of tours available to WITS attendees. These day tours are only for attendees with a confirmed ticket in their name to WITS 2026.

A tour of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center, a museum and cultural institution in Chattanooga dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the rich history and cultural contributions of African Americans in the region. Named in honor of Bessie Smith, one of the most influential blues artists of the 20th century, the Center serves as both a historical archive and a vibrant community hub.
