New Work
Martin Paull
Discover Martin Paull's "New Work" exhibition, showcasing finalists from the Blake Prize and Mission to Seafarers prize, such as 'Assassination of a Saint' and 'The Drowned and the Saved.'
Paull explores allegorical themes, bushfires, and haunting urban scenes of Canberra at night, inviting contemplation through miniature paintings. The collection captures the essence of these evocative pieces, creating a unique artistic experience.

Absurd Frontier
Nathan Hughes
Absurd Frontierโs figurative mixed media works fuse picaresque metafictions and wry humour to reflect the poignant absurdities of human folly and hydrocarbon hubris. Socio-ecological anxiety, the moral implications of perception, and how we maintain agency and integrity amidst anthropogenic climate collapse, animate a fluid interplay of myth, mind and screen.

CAPTCHA
Mathew Francis
Split into three structured chapters which explore observation, intimacy and expressionism, โCAPTCHAโ is a hypnotic audiovisual journey following an expressionless test subject as he seeks purpose in the mysterious facility he inhabits.
โCAPTCHAโ, initially a graduate project at the University of Canberra, has earned praise for Postglacial, the Canberra-based production team. The film was acknowledged at the 39th St Kilda Film Festival, winning Best Sound at the 28th Canberra Short Film Festival, and was a finalist in the 2023 Melbourne Cineverse Film Festival.

Cold Collations
Susan Chancellor
In Cold Collations, Susan Chancellor explores how abstract paintings and small ceramic sculptures arranged in playful groupings (collations) can energise a space and tantalize the viewer with contrasting colours, scales, surface textures, positive and negative spaces and gestural marks.
