Block 7 Exhibitions Opening

M16 Artspace is pleased to announce the opening of three new exhibitions.

Gallery 1 | Inside the Outside 

Jenny Gibson 

Jenny Gibson has been painting the natural environment for more than 30 years. In this exhibition of oil paintings, charcoal drawings and mixed media studies on paper she aims to encourage appreciation of the natural world by immersing the viewer in the Australian bush. 

Gallery 2 | The Space and Time Continuum Project 

Robyn Veneer Sweeny, Mandy Evans 

The Space & Time Continuum Project unites long-time friends and artists Mandy and Robyn in their first collaborative exhibition. Bridging distance and difference with small paintings and sculptures using bricolage, they explore connection through shared practice, conversation, and creativity. Set in Canberra, Intermundius becomes their meeting point—where friendship, place, and art merge across time, geography, and perspective. 

Gallery 3 | INTO THE VOID 

Annie Lok 

Lok's ongoing Rabbit Holes series presents surreal digital collages that investigate our physical, intellectual and emotional boundaries. The imagined spaces feature a common female figure; caught between real and fantasy, trauma and healing, escape and confrontation. Through vivid compositions, Lok invites us to reflect on how we navigate the unknown. 

Exhibitions run from Friday 11 July - Sunday 3 August 2025 
Gallery opening times: Wednesday to Sunday, 12 - 5pm. 

M16 Artspace operates on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We honour and pay our respects to their traditional custodians. We acknowledge this land always was and always will be the country of Australia’s First Nations People. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Parking: M16 Artspace has free parking and dedicated disability parking spots outside the entrance. 

Wheelchair access: Ramp access at the entrance of M16, however this can be too narrow for some wheelchair users. If this proves to be the case the studio access entrance has no stairs and connects directly to the gallery, please contact us for more information! 

Bathrooms: We have one wheelchair access and gender-neutral bathroom behind the lobby in addition to two gendered bathrooms.
