BLOOM: Human Virtues in Flower — Exhibition Opening
Description
Join Melbourne artist Elizabeth Sigston, painting as ANnew, for the opening of her first solo exhibition, BLOOM: Human Virtues in Flower.
Through Symbolic Realism and Expressive Abstraction, BLOOM explores the qualities that sustain and connect us—courage, gratitude, transformation, trust, wisdom, perseverance, compassion, hope and joy.
Flowers become storytellers, woven with layered symbols and expressive colour. From large statement paintings to intimate works and abstract echoes, the exhibition invites you to slow down, look closer and discover your own connections.
Elizabeth’s journey from surgeon to artist brings a personal perspective to these reflections on nature, change and the human experience.
Enjoy an evening of art, conversation and catering by Saint Lawrence Real Food, and meet the artist behind the collection.
