Blue Gum Lake Turtle Tracker Training

FAQs

• What is Turtle Tracker Training?

Turtle Tracker Training is designed for volunteers who want to take an active role in protecting Southwestern Snake-necked Turtles and their habitat.

As a Turtle Tracker, you'll work alongside experienced volunteers to monitor turtle activity, protect nests and contribute valuable citizen science data that supports long-term turtle conservation.

Turtle Trackers are part of the Saving Our Snake-Necked Turtle (SOSNT) community conservation program, helping protect turtle populations across Southwestern Australia through monitoring, education and citizen science.
