BluePrint on Respect for Older People

This free online Symposium begins by outlining the importance of a BluePrint on Respect for Older People - to remind us all what respect for older people looks like, or where the benchmark is.

Examples of respect in a range of contexts will be shared, including respect for Elders in Aboriginal culture, lessons from the BluePrint on Respect for Older Women, Victoria project etc.

Symposium participants will then be invited to help identify what a BluePrint could or should include.

This event is hosted by Celebrate Ageing Ltd, as part of the Embolden2026 Festival.
