Body Tune-Up Movement Classes with Erin Fowler
Description
Movement and body care sessions for performers and Fringe workers to connect with and “tune-up” their bodies during the long season.
Dancer & Holistic Movement Facilitator Erin Fowler will guide participants through nourishing grounding, circling, flowing, energising, releasing and stretching practices. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace and no dance experience is required. Open to all bodies, disciplines and abilities.
Led by Erin Fowler Movement -
Erin Fowler is a holistic movement facilitator, dancer, physical theatre performer and musician based in Kaurna Yerta/Adelaide. Erin weaves together embodiment, creativity, play and nervous system awareness in her teaching and facilitation work. She has spent over 15 years creating, producing and performing across theatre, dance and music, including her award winning solo shows FEMME & EGG. Her facilitation style invites people to reconnect with their bodies, creativity and presence.

Participants will gain:
A deeper connection to your body
Understanding of effective body maintenance and care, especially during big performance seasons.
Increased ease, availability and presence (and how to gently release tension and fatigue).

Requirements:
This workshop is aimed at performers and fringe workers looking to connect with and "tune-up" their bodies during Fringe.
Workshop participants must be over 18 years of age.

Saturday 28th February 1.00 - 2.00pm
Saturday 21st March 1.00 - 2.00pm
Cost: $18.00 per session

Accessibility:
This is a movement workshop but can be adapted around the needs of participants.
