About the Book:

A desperate princess creates a mystery. An accidental dragon creates a crisis. It is left to a gentle book-loving priest with a dangerous past to solve the mystery. But who can solve the crisis?

Born of Fire is a fantasy novel with a love story at its heart. It features a bullied king, a prince who has bitten off more than he can chew, and an unmarriageable girl who wins his heart. And who is the impossibly beautiful but dangerous girl who comes into their lives and disrupts the realm?

Written in lyrical, quasi-medieval language, this story evokes the tone of Ursula Le Guin, with characters reminiscent of Dune and a style of political intrigue akin to Game of Thrones, but without the gratuitous violence. Aimed at adult fantasy readers, this is a must-read for fans of dragonshifter tales, high-stakes romance, and swordplay.
