On Thursday, October 5th  Emmaus  will launch a new monthly program called Books & Tea. Our first book discussion will be on Borders of the Heart-A journey to peace written by Connie Longsworth, an ESC spiritual director. It is a memoir about spiritual growth while revisiting our life experiences. How to embrace our family and be spiritually reconciled. Books will be available for purchase.
About the Presenter
Author, wife, mom, grandma and spiritual director. Connie Longsworth writes as a Latina raised in Mexico and the U.S. She spends much of her life looking to understand and come to terms with the roots of her upbringing. She brings her experience from spiritual retreats over the last 15 years, her studies as a graduate of the Cenacle Spiritual Direction program, and her experience as a volunteer spiritual director and mentor. She writes as a grandma and feels overjoyed to finally put her life down on paper.
