Join us at Books@Stones on Thursday 21 May for a special in-conversation event with Rachel Fox McLeod and Sommer Tothill discussing Disgraceful - a hilarious and moving debut novel about a woman who writes a ‘f*ck-it’ list to reclaim herself after her marriage unexpectedly implodes.

Rachel Fox McLeod is an award-winning fiction writer and screenwriter. Her film and television credits including Wanted (Matchbox Pictures), Mako Mermaids (Disney/Netflix) and The Bachelor. Rachel has also been awarded the Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize and the Griffith Review Emerging Writers Prize. Her debut novel Disgraceful is being developed as a television series and has previously been supported by Screen Queensland. Rachel likes tattoos, pop culture, the F word and cheese. Not in that order (cheese always comes first).

Sommer Tothill is a feminist writer and influencer on social media, based in Brisbane/Meanjin. Her writing and speaking about gender equality can also be found across radio and digital publications for the ABC. Her career has spanned producing and writing for children’s TV and reality TV including Big Brother, as well as writing an arts column for Fairfax for several years. Her most notable career moment was the time Andrew Bolt devoted an entire column to a tantrum about one of Sommer’s feminist op-eds.
