Protective behaviours are important life skills for all people to know. With the right approaches and evidence-based knowledge these skills can be taught simply and effectively.
This workshop introduces the two fundamental messages of Protective Behaviours Education. You will learn useful tools, ideas, and resources to support people with disability to learn protective behaviours.

· Core messages of protective behaviours education
· Early warning signs
· The safety continuum
· Public and Private
· Different types of relationships
· Recognising grooming behaviour
· Online safety
Who is it for?
Parents, carers, students, teachers, and health professionals. Maximum of 3 participants per organisation.
What to bring:
A water bottle and your own lunch
We provide tea/coffee and biscuits
A fridge and microwave are available for use
Please note: if you are a HCC holder 50% of the ticket price ($60) will be refunded on proof of HCC. You can upload a photo of your HCC at the time of ordering for a faster refund.
Our workshops are in person only. Due to a limited capacity within our education team, we are not able to offer online workshops at this time.
