Description
Breastfeeding, Latch & Baby Comfort
Breastfeeding can be affected by many factors, including positioning, attachment, your baby’s movement and comfort, feeding patterns and milk transfer. When feeding feels difficult, understanding what may be contributing can help you feel more confident about your next steps.
Join Dr Kirsten Hannan, Osteopath and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from Body of Life, for a practical and supportive session exploring breastfeeding from both a lactation and osteopathic perspective.
The session will cover:
Positioning and attachment
Recognising feeding cues and understanding feeding patterns
Common latch and breastfeeding concerns
How your baby’s comfort, movement and body function may affect feeding
Practical adjustments that may make feeding more comfortable
Understanding when further lactation or clinical support may be helpful
Time to ask Kirsten your questions
