TRIAL: North Shore Mothers' Group (0–12 Months) | Term 4 2026

Nurturing Beginnings offers community-based, professionally facilitated mothers’ groups designed to support connection, confidence and wellbeing during your baby’s first year.

This booking is for Week 1 of our 10-week Term 4 Mothers’ Group program.

Unlike a casual drop-in group, our program is built around a small, consistent group of mothers attending together each week. This continuity allows relationships to develop naturally over time — creating the safety, intimacy, depth and trust needed for genuine connection and support.

Our aim is not simply to provide support during the sessions, but to help mothers build a local support system and meaningful friendships that can continue beyond the group itself.

DURING THE PROGRAM

Each week provides a welcoming space to:

• Connect with other local mums at a similar stage of early parenthood

• Build meaningful friendships and a stronger local support network

• Share the experiences, challenges and transitions of motherhood

• Explore infant development and responsive caregiving

• Build confidence in understanding and supporting your baby

• Have regular, supported time to slow down, connect and feel part of a community

CONSISTENT WEEKLY ATTENDANCE

The program is intentionally structured as a consistent weekly group rather than a drop-in mothers’ group.

Regular attendance across the term is important. Seeing the same mothers and babies each week helps create familiarity, trust and a sense of belonging, giving relationships the opportunity to deepen and providing the foundations for a support network that can extend well beyond the 10-week program.

WEEK 1: TRIAL SESSION

Week 1 is a 45-minute trial session and an opportunity to experience the group, meet the facilitator and other local mums, and decide whether the program feels like the right fit for you.

Please choose one trial session only when booking.

Following the trial, families who would like to continue can apply for a fully funded place for Weeks 2–10 of the Term 4 program.

WEEKS 2–10: WEEKLY MOTHERS’ GROUP

Families offered an ongoing place will attend a 1.5-hour session each week from Weeks 2–10, with the same small group of mothers and babies throughout the term.

A limited number of fully funded places are available each term.

Unfortunately, in some locations where demand exceeds available capacity, we may not be able to offer an ongoing place to every family who attends a trial session. We keep our groups intentionally small and consistent to support a sense of safety, trust, connection and belonging across the term.
