    Cold exposure is a very popular thing to do right now in the wellness space. Understanding why and how to go about it is very important to both partaking safely and getting the most out of it. Come down to the studio on a Sunday morning to experience some gentle breathwork to relax and calm at the end of the week, and learn the amazing benefits of cold exposure with an Ice Bath at the end.

    Breathwork:

    This will be learning breath session. Each week we will take on a new breath topic and learn from it, from healthy breathing patterns to breath and performance to anxiety and nervous system work. This will be a mixture of discussion and practical participation giving you new tools to use at home to help with your day to day life and overall health. This will mostly not be a trauma release session but one week will be on that topic (the fortnightly Friday ceremonies are for this).

    Ice Baths:

    Firstly we will have a good chat about why on earth we would voluntarily enter into a freezing cold body of water

    What are the health benefits? 

    What are the mental health benefits?

    Community benefits.

    The importance of resilience building.

    We will talk about breathing and ice baths mental focus and tips and trick in going about cold exposure safely. You will be in the water alone and you will be helped through it by the group.

    There are rooms to change in for privacy and the area the ice baths will be is private and away from the eyes of the public.

    Hot drinks will be served after.


    What to bring?

    An open mind and willingness to surrender to the process that you have signed up to.

    Yoga mat

    Water

    Swimmers and towel/change of clothes

    Journal and pen

    Once you know and feel the benefits of the cold you will forever comfortable with the cold.

    *Price includes rent of space, ice baths, all the bags of ice necessary and hot drinks.
