Explore breathing and fluid movement patterns through the engaging and embodied approach of Body-Mind Centering®. Each session offers a rich combination of anatomical and physiological information and imagery, visualization and guided movement practice, holding space for you to dive into your own experience. There is time to reflect and integrate through movement, drawing and/or writing.
Some of the places we'll visit and move with:
anatomy of the lungs, bronchi and alveoli, and the fullness and sponginess of living lung tissue
the diaphragms and other muscles of respiration that coordinate in the pulsation of breath
cellular respiration and metabolism, including the wisdom of the cell membrane and mitochondria
fluid rhythms that support nervous system tone, engagement and rest
For anyone interested in connecting with internal rhythms of support, ease and expression through embodied physiology and movement exploration.
