*Please note these activities are for young people only. Parents are welcome to stay and observe. You do not need a ticket to do so, but we kindly request you let us know in advance.

About the workshop: Great stories begin with great ideas, but they come alive through unforgettable characters and believable dialogue. In this interactive workshop for writers aged 12-15, participants will discover where story ideas come from, develop original characters, and learn how to write dialogue that feels natural, emotionally honest and full of personality.

What will I learn? Through games, writing prompts and collaborative activities, they'll experiment with genre, explore what makes readers care, and write scenes of their own.

What do I need to bring?. Please bring a water bottle and a packed lunch. 

What will I take home? Participants will leave with fresh story ideas, practical writing techniques, and greater confidence in bringing their imagination to the page.
