Build-A-Motorcycle Project Workshop

Re-Build a Motorcycle Workshop 12 weekly sessions each Saturday 10:30 am — 4.:00 pm Location: 90 Uriarra Road, Queanbeyan		DATES: Starts 17 June 2023 | 10:30 am — 4:00 pm Ends 2 Sept 2023 | 10:30 am — 4:0 0 pm Attendance each Saturday is required.
This project is open to females interested in learning how motorcycles function.		TOTAL COST $300 +BF

Over the course of 12 weekly sessions you will be involved in breaking down and reassembling a modern 650cc parallel twin sports motorcycle.

You will be part of a small group working together to develop knowledge, skills and confidence to work on your own motorcycle.

At the completion of this workshop series you will have developed an understanding of common problems and how they can be avoided and/or rectified. You will be aware of possible malfunctions and what may be a critical safety issue. 

This is an opportunity to:

• become confident using tools and equipment
• identify motorcycle parts 
• learn how to put parts together 
• understand different types of oils, fluids and solvents
• check and examine components for wear and tear
• become confident in your ability to converse with service technicians and auto product suppliers 
• connect with like-minded people in a supportive environment.

Experienced and competent volunteers will assist participants throughout each workshop session.

All tools and equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Bring your own lunch. Kitchenette facilities with microwave, sandwich press, hot water and fridge are available. Tea and hot chocolate provided.
