Build a Native Plant Stand: The ReCreators Green Space, Friday 14 November 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Event description
Brought to you by Creative Communities and Auckland Council!
Learn the basics of power tools while building your own native timber plant stand.
In this beginner-friendly evening workshop, you’ll get to know tools like drills and sanders under the guidance of our experienced tutor. You’ll build confidence using each tool while creating a stylish and functional stand to show off your favorite plants at home or it would make an amazing Christmas gift!
We’ll start with a health and safety briefing before using any tools. You’ll learn how to safely operate a power drill and sander, and we’ll show you how to extend your skills beyond the basics.
Please wear covered shoes and fitted clothing (nothing loose). Some work may take place outdoors, so dress for the weather.
