Building on Funding Foundations in the Arts - Creative and Culture Hui, Queenstown & Wānaka

Workshop facilitator, Adrianne Roberts, Development Senior Adviser of Creative New Zealand will provide top tips towards grant writing and career sustainability in the arts with CNZ.
Adrianne has worked in the creative sector for 15 years as a theatre and dance producer and as a funding adviser and assessor for NZ Film Commission and Creative New Zealand.
She joined the CNZ whānau in 2020 in the Capability Services and Initiatives team, and now as a Senior Adviser in Development. The Development team supports opportunities to grow the business and creative development of the arts sector to create long term success. She is responsible for the Asian Artists’ Fund – a devolved fund with Foundation North to target support to Asian artists based in Tāmaki Makaurau and Northland. She has also led the delivery of CNZ’s Sustainable Careers resources – a suite of tools and tips to help artists and arts practitioners have sustainable and financially resilient careers.
