Burnout in Aotearoa New Zealand: What does the research say?
Event description
The term 'burnout' gets thrown about a lot these days. You might feel yourself resonating with it, or hear others talking about it.
And there's a reason for that: the data shows that a lot of us are experiencing burnout.
But who is most at risk? What factors lead to burnout? And most importantly: how do we navigate it?
Some of these answers lie in the research ... and our guest has a lot of that at his fingertips!
Project Sunrise presents a special online event with global expert in burnout and workplace wellbeing: Professor Jarrod Haar from Massey University.
His research broadly focuses on employees (e.g., wellbeing, job burnout, work-life balance, teams, leaders-followers) and employers (e.g., firm innovation, HR practices, entrepreneurship, retention). Within both aspects, he also has a strong interest in Māori cultural factors including mātauranga Māori in business.
So come along for an insightful presentation and Q&A session. And don't worry: this won't be a boring lecture! In Jarrod's signature upbeat, charismatic style he'll dig into the data and bring it to life, and is ready to answer all your questions!
Want to meet Jarrod in person?
Jarrod will be joining Project Sunrise for our Sip 'n' Stroll event in Mairangi Bay later in the week on Friday 13th June. You can come along and chat with him in person.
