The much anticipated Solar Dwellings Bus Tour is set for Sunday October 19th this year.
We will visit 3 - 5 houses. We are working with our homeowners and will update this page when we have more information.
Event Details
Date: Sunday 19th October 2025
Time: 9:30am - 1:30pm (Registrations will open at 8:30am, please arrive by 9am to ensure that we get on the bus on time) We will have tea and coffee at reception, its a great opportunity to meet the other people on the tour.
Where: 23 Green St, Mt Hawthorn. Start and finish @ Solar Dwellings office
Cost: $40 per person includes GST (Plus booking fee)
Discount Tickets are available for concession card holders and those experiencing financial hardship.
Use code DISCOUNTFIVE to receive a $5 discount on the bus tour per person. Please only use the discount code if you are experiencing financial hardship as we can offer a limited number at this rate. A maximum of two discounts can be used per booking.
All profits from this event will go to The Hunger Project.

1. Assumption of risk: By booking and participating in the event, you acknowledge and accept there are risks involved. These include but are not limited to, falls, injuries, illness, and adverse weather conditions. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event and agree Solar Dwellings shall not be held responsible for any accidents. injuries or losses during the event.
2. Responsibility for personal belongings: Participants are responsible for their belongings during the event. Solar Dwellings is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of personal property that may occur during the event.
3. Damage/Loss of property at homes: Participants to respect the property at individual homes and is responsible for any damage where the participant has been negligent and has not shown due care.
4. Photography and filming – please be aware by being a part of this event you understand that you may be photographed and/or filmed, you hereby give Solar Dwellings the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to use your image, without compensation, for use in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, let us know at registration.
5. Booking at own risk: By booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event. You agree that your participation is entirely at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety and well-being.
