Have you ever wanted to grow bushtucker? Or simply find out what it  tastes like? Learn everything you want to know about bushtucker plants with Gamilaroi man, Aaron Chatfield, from Dreamtime Connections. He will open our eyes, our taste buds and our hearts with a workshop on connecting to indigenous culture through plants and tools. You will be welcome to try the tasting menu:

  • barramundi in paperbark with lemon myrtle
  • kangaroo with native thyme, pepper and saltbush
  • garden salad with native thyme and mint dressing
  • bush tea - peppermint gum and lemon myrtle
  • wattleseed cookies

Aaron has deep connections to Ngunnawal people and Country, has planted over 20,000 trees, and has his own nursery. He is our special guest at the Canberra City Farm to celebrate national Urban Agriculture Month.
