The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland invites you to the launch of its Business Matters event series, supported by Australian Retirement Trust, to be held on Tuesday, March 21 at The Grove.

Business Matters will provide an opportunity for Queensland’s business leaders to come together on a regular basis to examine the major economic issues that affect us all.

This inaugural event will include the launch of CCIQ’s Advancing Business Sustainability report and feature a keynote address from the Hon. Meaghan Scanlon MP, Minster for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef and Minister for Science and Youth Affairs.

This will be followed with a panel discussion, moderated by Ellen Fanning, journalist and host of ABC’s The Drum, featuring:

  • Andrew Fraser, Chancellor, Griffith University and Chair, Australian Retirement Trust, and
  • Royston Kent, CEO, B&C Plastics


About the Advancing Business Sustainability Report


CCIQ’s Advancing Business Sustainability report will provide a unique perspective on how the Queensland businesses approach sustainability and the adoption of sustainability business practices. This report represents the first-time in-depth research has been undertaken of the sustainable maturity of Queensland’s businesses.
