Event description

The Cambodian-American Community of Oregon (CACO) is excited to announce our 26th Annual CACO Camping Weekend! For over a quarter of a century, the Cambodian community in Oregon and SW Washington has come together to enjoy the great outdoors! Join us as we celebrate the end of summer at Camp Meriwether in Cloverdale, OR.

This year we are piloting a new pre-registration system to improve the camp experience. Pre-registration is highly encouraged, as we are capping attendance to 1,000 attendees this year and will turn people away once we meet our max capacity. Day-of registration is available, but not guaranteed.

Incentives for pre-registration:

  • Secure your entrance to CACO Community Camping asap!
  • Skip the long registration line! Those who have pre-registered can skip the line and get into camp quicker. NOTE: Proof of ID will be required to confirm online tickets.
  • Pay your entrance fees with credit card (onsite is CASH only).

Children 11 and under are FREE – but still REQUIRE A TICKET when pre-registering!

In-door dorms are available for an additional rental fee this year. Each dorm room is equipped with 4 bunks beds, private bathroom and shower. Please be aware that these rooms do not lock from outside the building. You can see more details, photos and how to purchase after you select your general admission tickets!

DISABLED, ELDER (age 60+),PREGNANT, INFANT BABIES: This year we are offering free dormitories to disabled individuals, elders (ages 60+), pregnant individuals, and those with infants (under 12 months old). Each room is equipped with 4 bunks beds, private bathroom and shower. Please be aware that these rooms may be shared with others, and front doors are not able to lock from the outside. Those who require these accessible dorm reservations are still required to register and pay general admission fees. Please fill out this form to register for an accessible dorm.

We are seeking volunteers (priority for ages 16-25) to help make this event a success. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to develop leadership skills, create new connection with other people, and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you're interested in assisting with set-up, helping with activities, or providing support throughout the event, we have a role that's perfect for you.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER HERE by Sunday, August 4, 2024!
