Event description

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Calm Abiding Meditation Course. Meditation is a powerful method for navigating life’s challenges as it directly addresses the mind that encounters these challenges.

Meditation is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.

This 4-week course offers a 2-hour session each week, incorporating meditation theory, practice, and a dedicated time for Q&A.

Through meditation, we learn to cultivate presence, stillness, and calm. This allows us to connect deeply with our inherent qualities of care and compassion for both ourselves and others. Importantly, meditation also strengthens our acceptance, wisdom, and resilience, empowering us to face life’s challenges with greater confidence.

The course will be facilitated by Ben Adcock, a long-term student of Tibetan Buddhist Master Lama Choedak Rinpoche. Ben has dedicated the past 25 years to studying and practicing Buddhist philosophy and meditation techniques. With 20 years of experience teaching Calm Abiding Meditation at the Manjushri Buddhist Centre, as well as in workplaces, schools, and clinical settings, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this course.
