Meet an Expert: Sam Evans aka the Electric Viking

We're excited to invite you to join us for a discussion with Sam Evans, aka the Electric Viking. Sam will be guest speaker for our 5 August Annual General Meeting from 6:30pm at the Mayfield Bowling Club.

Sam is a guru when it comes to electric vehicles, and advises on home solar, batteries and going renewable. He has created one of the world's most popular and influential YouTube channels dedicated to electric vehicles, solar energy, and battery technologies. He also publishes a daily newsletter and popular podcast on Spotify. Sam and his family live in Newcastle.

What changes can we look forward to? What are the pros and cons of shifting to an EV? Which EVs are most and least popular? Why? What are the obstacles to EV uptake in Australia and how can they be removed? How are people electrifying and optimising their rooftop PVs, home batteries and EVs? How to make these technologies accessible for all?

We'll meet informally at the Mayfield Bowlo on Ingall Street for this informative and interactive discussion. Meals are available. Be sure to book so we know how many people are coming.
