Whether you’re a hard core curd nerd like us or just someone who thinks everything tastes better covered in melted gold, the Canberra Cheese Festival is your new happy place.
Join us at Grainger Gallery for Australia’s finest cheese, wine, & caviar. The festival will run from the Friday 8th May to Sunday 10th May with six session times to choose from.
The festival brings together exceptional cheesemakers from across Australia, showcasing our Australian dairy industry. This is your chance to meet the makers, taste their amazing award winning cheese and discover your new favourites.
We’re pairing it all with premium Canberra District wines, Raclette, Parmesan Wheel Pasta and for a touch of indulgence… Caviar. Expect to taste the best in the Australian Dairy industry, talk with producers, and be ready to take home as much cheese, wine and caviar as your bags can fit.

FAQs
- Are there ID and age restrictions?
Yes, there will be alcohol at the event. Children need to be accompained by an adult at all times. You must be over 18 years of age to consume alcohol. Please bring a valid form of ID to the event.
- Are children allowed at the event?
Children are welcome at our event, we love seeing families come along. Just keep in mind that the atmosphere is lively and bustling, with plenty of wine being poured and a fairly busy crowd throughout the day. If you’re comfortable bringing your children into that environment.
- Do children need tickets?
Children under the age of 18 are free, however they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Children do not receive a cooler bag on entry, if you wish to purchase one for them, there will be a small amount available at the festival.
- Can I purchase tickets for multiple sessions?
You're more than welcome to purchase tickets for more than one session; however please note there is a 45 minute break between each session where we ask you to please leave the venue for us to reset for the next session.
- Will you be selling tickets on the day?
If there are any tickets available at any of the sessions, you can purchase at the door, however we have strict numbers for each session. We suggest pre-booking to avoid diappointment.
- Will you accept cash at the event?
No, we are a cashless event! We will be accepting all major cards. There is a 1.4% transaction fee on all cards.
