Carclew History Tours and Activities
Event description
Every year as part of South Australia’s History Festival, Carclew swings open its doors for tours of the house and grounds. Learn about the links to significant figures in South Australian history in one of Adelaide’s most iconic manors.
Carclew House was built on Kaurna Land in 1897 and over the years has transformed into a youth arts organisation. This year in the spirit of youth arts we are combining our popular history tours with interactive activities for the whole family. History tours are guided by Carclew’s emerging artists and include arts activities to allow kids to join in on the fun. After your tour stick around and participate in a creative family activity hosted by First Nations Artists.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised throughout the tour.
