Description
Join the Adelaide University's Geography and Development Society for our 2026 Career Panel! Gather insights from four industry professionals at various career stages within both government and private sectors.
This panel is focused on geography and sustainability careers paths, highlighting how people with a range of interests and experiences are brought together by their passion for the environment and geography. For university graduates and undergraduates, it's an opportunity to ask your burning career questions and gain insights into applying for your first industry job/graduate position!
Event Details:
The evening will open with a panel conversation, followed by an audience-led Q&A section, with networking and refreshment opportunities before and after the panel.
Location: Function Room 2 (Level 6) of Union House, on the City East Campus of Adelaide University.
Date: Thursday, 15/10/2026
Time: 6pm, with a 6:30pm start time. We are scheduled to end around 8:30pm.
Anyone is welcome to attend, it is aimed at current and former students hoping to learn more about career opportunities.

Parking is available along Victoria Drive, it's free from 6pm in the evening, and otherwise paid. There is also a range of public transport options.
Accessibility Notes:
There is a lift at Union House by the Adelaide Unibar that is accessible by student ID past open hours.
For any non-university attendees with limited mobility and/or mobility aids, please make sure to notify us and we can provide a key card to let you in.
There is an accessible toilet and gender-neutral toilets on the level.
We will have a microphone and AV system to amplify audio.
