    CARERS Nia DANCE SESSION & MORNING TEA

    Eligible unpaid carers are invited to take some time out for themselves at this FREE respite event for relaxation and an opportunity to connect with like carers who live in your local community.

    Description of the event: 

    Carers are invited to attend this one off unique dance class led by NIA dance instructor Tiffany.

    Date: Starts Friday 29th November (runs for 3 weeks)

    Venue: BHN, 335-337 Nepean Highway Parkdale

    Type of Event: Carers only

    Details: Nia - Joyful movement for health and wellbeing 

    Nia is a fun and gentle dance and movement practice designed to reignite your joy and wellbeing. 

    Nia gives you the opportunity to rediscover your senses and increase your zest for life. A Nia class runs for about 60 minutes and includes movement and relaxation set to an eclectic mix of music. Nia is non-impact and adaptable to all individual needs, abilities and levels of fitness. Everybody can dance Nia: the class provides a supportive and encouraging space for you to be yourself. Nia can be danced barefoot or with light flexible shoes. Choose clothes that feel good to move in. You may like to bring a water bottle and an exercise mat for the floor (chair option available).
