CATAKIDS activities are fun, inspiring, inclusive, and therapeutic.

This Easter School Holidays sees the launch of CATA’s

School Holiday Creative Arts Workshops.

When:    11th 12th 18th & 19th April 2023

Where:       CATA HQ, 135 station street, Fairfield 3078

Time:             10:00am to 2:45pm

Inclusive of 3 Creative Arts Workshops (1.5 hours each), games, and rest and restore

Recommended for children aged 6 to 12 years

Spaces are limited (max 10 per workshop)

Participant pairing 2 kids to 1 facilitator

Creative Arts Workshop: Drumming & Drama

In this fun Creative Arts workshop, the kids will drum and create animal headbands, bringing animals to life with rhythm and movement. Through drumming, rhythm, dance, creative activities, mindful awareness, and play-based learning, we will provide opportunities for children to understand themselves, understand relationships and others.

Meet our Facilitator: Kathryn Arbuckle is an experienced Special Education Teacher for over 25 years in a diverse range of roles. Kathryn's experience includes classroom teaching, specialist roles in Music, Dance and Drama, Social and Emotional Learning, and Creative Arts. Kathryn is passionate about social and emotional learning and teaching children the skills to develop their self-awareness, social awareness, and self-management skills.
