Challenge Ball
Description
Challenge Ball has officially sold out!
Please join our waitlist by emailing stacey@challenge.org.au
For over three decades, the Challenge Ball has brought together friends, families, and supporters from across our community to celebrate life, connection, and the many stories of resilience and hope that inspire us all.
This year’s theme, Little Heroes, honours the extraordinary courage, strength, and spirit shown every day by children living with cancer, and the families who stand beside them through every step of the journey.
Join us for an evening filled with elegance, warmth, and entertainment as we come together to recognise and support those whose lives have been impacted by childhood cancer. Hosted by television personality and Challenge Chairman Tom Gleisner, the gala dinner has become one of the most loved and meaningful events within the Challenge community.
Funds raised throughout the evening are vital in helping Challenge continue delivering essential services and support. From small moments that brighten difficult days to camps, family holidays, music therapy, massages, counselling, and parent support, Challenge provides care for the child, their siblings, and parents both inside and outside the hospital.
Tickets are $200 per person and include:
A three course dinner
Premium wines and beverages
Live entertainment
Opportunities to win incredible prizes throughout the evening.
$90 from each ticket is tax deductible.
Dress code: Cocktail
Terms & Conditions
Refunds / Waitlist
All ticket sales are final and strictly non-refundable.
If the event is sold out, we may have a waitlist and may be able to assist with transferring your ticket to another guest. Alternatively, you can choose to donate your ticket to a Challenge family, in which case we can provide a tax-deductible receipt (TDR) for the ticket cost.
Table & Seating Configuration
Due to high demand and venue capacity, groups of 9 or 11 cannot be accommodated unless pre-approved by Challenge.
Bookings of 8 or fewer individual tickets may be seated with other guests to complete a table.
Due to the limited number of larger tables available, if you require a table of 12, you must purchase a full table of 12. Tables of 12 cannot be made up of multiple individual bookings without prior approval from Challenge.
Dietary Requirements
Please provide all guest names and dietary requirements at the time of booking where possible.
Final dietary requirements must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the event.
Please note that the venue cannot accept dietary preferences or general medical conditions such as pregnancy, coeliac disease or low FODMAP as a dietary requirement. Please specify the particular food or ingredient that needs to be avoided, for example, “no gluten”, “no dairy” or “no nuts”.
TDR / Tickets
Your event ticket also serves as your tax-deductible receipt and will include the guest’s name and confirm that $90 of the ticket price is tax deductible.
Your ticket can be downloaded from your booking confirmation email by clicking the “Download & Print” link.
Please note, this is a non-ticketed event and you do not need to bring your ticket with you. Guest names and table allocations will be displayed on the digital seating plan at the event.
Minors
Challenge Gala events are strictly 18+.
Guests aged 16–17 may attend under the supervision of a parent or guardian, however prior approval must be obtained from both Challenge and the venue before booking.
