CCM 30th Commemoration Speaker Series
Description
The Council of Christians and Muslims (CCM) is an Auckland-based charitable society.
We create opportunities for Christians and Muslims to meet kanohi ki te kanohi and learn from one another. In a diverse Aotearoa New Zealand, our kaupapa is to break down barriers, contribute to a fair and peaceful community, and build relationships shaped by manaakitanga (care, hospitality, and respect).
On 6th June 2026 we will commemorate the founding of CCM and celebrate the work of building mutual respect, understanding and friendship between people of faith. As we celebrate this milestone, we would be delighted to welcome you and members of your organisation to this special occasion, where two of our former Co-Presidents will Trace Pathways to Peace between faiths, and guest speakers from other peace and interfaith organisations will briefly share their origin stories, journeys and reflections on their pathways to peace.
