As roadworks and other building projects slowly encroach upon us all, the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens is becoming an ever-more vital sanctuary and oasis for our wildlife and for people, too. Please join us on Sunday 15th September for an inspiring fund-raising event for the Gardens as we CELEBRATE BIRDS!
Program (this program is subject to change)
8.00am breakfast with the birds - walk with Hunter Bird Observers Club followed by BBQ breakfast - very limited places for this walk. Bookings essential. Bookings close 13th Sept. Price of $20 includes entry and breakfast BBQ.
9.30Â Bird photography walk with Hunter Bird Observers. Limited places. Bookings essential. Walk is $5.

There will be displays and activities from NPWS, Eco-Network, Mambo Wetlands and Hunter Bird Observers Club.
The Hunter Region Botanic Gardens receives no on-going government funding. The Gardens are maintained entirely by volunteers. All donations are gratefully received and fund-raising events such as this are vital to keep our Gardens going and growing. Thank you for your support.
