Celebration of Thanksgiving

Have you ever allowed God to thank you as His faithful servant? We are called to be grateful for His blessings, yet what does it mean to fully receive His gratitude?

In this workshop Joan uses Psalm 100 as the guide to receive God’s gracious “thank you.” As well as explore how this Psalm provides you with the opportunity to open your heart to thank Him for the many blessings you receive.

Joan McGovern companions others along their spiritual journey, as a board certified Chaplain and Spiritual Director. Trained in Ignatian Spirituality, Joan has facilitated directed retreats, as well as develops days of prayer for local parishes and retreat centers. Facilitating bereavement support groups provides her the opportunity to minister to others while channeling God’s compassion to those experiencing various types of loss. Joan is currently working towards completing her Master’s degree in Theology.
