Midsummer's eve is the night that the sun reaches the height of its strength, Summer Solstice, the night of magic, mischief and one of the three spirit nights of the year according to Celtic lore.This was a night when the veil between the worlds was thought to be thin and faery beings were likely to be encountered.
Join me for a magical evening at the gorgeous Koko Sun Farm.
I will share with you the traditions of this special time of year, tell you an ancient Celtic story followed by some Mugwort tea, used by the Celts for its psychic and visionary properties. Then I will guide you into a vision journey to meet the Faery people who live under the ground according to Celtic lore. They have much to teach us about how to connect more deeply to this planet and bring back the magic in our lives.
We will finish with a bonfire blessing to honour our ancestors and the land of Maui.

About your guide:
Hannah McQuilkan is based in New Zealand where she runs Celtic themed events throughout the year. This special event has been made possible as she is visiting her sister who lives at Koko Sun Farm. Hannah has a 20 year background in natural health, healing and wellness. She is a qualified Naturopath, Medical Herbalist and Forest Therapy Guide. As a practicing Druidess she seeks ways to connect more deeply with the natural world and her ancestors and is passionate about discovering her Celtic roots and sharing the magic and ritual of this culture with others.
