Picnic in the Park: Central Coast Catch-Up
Event description
Are you a Central Coast local raising a child with disability, developmental delay, or autism?
You're invited to a FREE, relaxed picnic just for parents and carers like you. This is a low-key get-together—come along for some snacks, chats, and the chance to connect with others who truly get it. It's all about community, support, and taking a moment to breathe.
What to expect

- An opportunity to meet and connect with local parents and carers
- Warm and inclusive atmosphere
- A supportive space to share experiences and information
Gosford Leagues Park is an accessible space. However, the park is NOT fully fenced. There is parking onsite and access to public transport.
This group is facilitated by Kristy
Kristy is the proud parent of Dash, an inquisitive, gentle-hearted, and wonderfully funny 9-year-old. Dash is Autistic, has ADHD, and global developmental delay. Kristy likes to say that Dash "got it from his Mama," as she identifies as AuDHD herself. A passionate advocate for her family, Kristy thrives as a parent peer facilitator, dedicated to sharing her insights, celebrating neurodivergent joy, and connecting with other families on a similar journey.
