Chaitra Navaratri ~ Celebrating the Divine Feminine

Chaitra Navaratri honors the goddess Durga, who is known for her strength, protection, and destruction. This festival is a celebration of Durga’s victory over the buffalo-demon Mahishasura. Said to be unkillable by any man, Durga was able to best him, unleashing her divine wrath for the benefit of all beings. 

Traditionally, the festival spans nine nights, each honoring Durga and her nine avatars, the Navadurga. We invite you to join us all weekend and soak up Durga’s determination to protect life from evil by any means possible!
