Chanukah 2026: Chanukah in the Garden at Emanuel Synagogue

On the eighth night of Chanukah, the menorah stands at its fullest, every light kindled one by one across the week. It is a fitting moment to gather and take in how far that light has travelled.

Join us in the David Neil Constable AM Memorial Garden on Friday 11 December from 5.00 pm for donuts, latkes with a spread of toppings and drinks, as we light the final candles together ahead of our Shabbat Chanukah services at 6.15 pm.

Please bring your friends and family; just make sure everyone is registered.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN
We want everyone to feel welcome at our celebrations, whatever their circumstances. That’s why tickets for this evening are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, so cost is never a barrier to joining us as we bring Chanukah to a joyful close.

SECURITY
Heightened security measures will be in place, and you may be asked to present photo ID at the gate. We thank you for your patience and understanding as our dedicated guards work to keep our community safe.
