CHIAROSCURO

An immersive evening of art, food and wine.

Some dinners are served. Others are curated.

Inspired by the Renaissance technique of chiaroscuro- the dramatic interplay of light and shadow- this one-night-only experience invites guests to explore contrast through a carefully considered evening of exceptional food, premium wine and artistic discovery.

From the moment you arrive, every element of the evening has been designed to unfold with intention. A bespoke four-course menu, created by our head chef exclusively for the event, takes guests on a journey from bright, fresh and elegant flavours to dishes of greater richness, depth and intensity. Each course is thoughtfully paired with a premium selection from Maretti Wines, with insights shared throughout the evening by wine specialist Matt Wilkie from the Wandering Cellar Door.

Between courses, the experience extends beyond the table. Guided by a local artist, guests will discover the principles of chiaroscuro through a relaxed observation and sketching session inspired by the works of the Renaissance masters. No artistic experience is necessary- this is not about creating the perfect drawing, but about slowing down, seeing differently and embracing creativity in an intimate and welcoming setting.

With just 30 seats available, the evening has been designed to feel personal, conversational and immersive. Whether you're a lover of food, wine, art or simply unique experiences, Chiaroscuro offers something rarely found in Townsville: a night where fine dining, storytelling and creativity come together around one table.

Your ticket includes:

• A bespoke four-course dining experience
• Four premium wine pairings from the Maretti Wines portfolio
• Guided tastings and wine insights throughout the evening
• An artist-led creative experience, including all materials
• An intimate event limited to just 30 guests

This is more than a wine dinner. It's an invitation to pause, indulge and experience the beauty of contrast- where every course, every glass and every conversation reveals another layer of the story.
